RedSky — Third-Party Fulfillment Provider

Established in 2017, RedSky Europe was founded by Ken Byrne and Karen Ryan in Kilkenny city, located in Ireland, the gateway to Europe. Prior to setting up RedSky Europe, Ken had lived, worked and traded with the United States for over a decade. During this time, he acquired an in-depth knowledge of the needs of B2B and B2C trading overseas. On his return to Ireland, Ken founded a hugely successful online retail business selling Irish gifts worldwide, it was here that Ken gained his vast expertise in global e-commerce. With invaluable experiences combined, Ken and Karen identified a number of stumbling blocks for brands looking to enter a particular marketplace. This emerging marketplace had almost double the population of the U.S. and was experiencing exponential growth. This lucrative marketplace was of course, Europe. The first major issues identified were the barriers to entry for North American companies trying to access Europe. The second obstacle was the lack of adequate fulfillment services available in Europe for expanding online retailers. Focusing on these two elements, Ken and Karen wanted to develop a first-in-class service offering. The aim was simple, to provide a localized fulfillment center to store and dispatch inventory from in Europe, resulting in the best possible customer experience for brands. To take things to the next level, Ken and his team of corporate experts built an exclusive VAT (tax) platform enabling companies to trade seamlessly while saving valuable time and money within Europe. In just three years, RedSky Europe experienced unprecedented growth by gaining major global brands and some of largest partners in the fulfillment space, worldwide.
